Lilian Odira

Lilian shot to fame when beating World Champion Mary Moraa at the 2024 Kenyan Olympic trials 800m, running a 1.59.27 PB to auto qualify for Team Kenya for the Paris Olympics. She won her first medal for Kenya at the African Championships in Cameroon where she won silver. Previous to this she had won the Kenyan National Championships.

Perhaps, the motivation of starting a family these past few years has brought that extra spark when racing.
